Women

West Chester 17, Lock Haven 8

    Jackie Baker (Penncrest) amd Courtney Whiting (Downingtown East) scored four goals apiece while Claire Grimwood and Stephanie Kienle (Henderson) added three each as the host Rams (18-1) claimed their fifth straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference crown.

    Amber Hoch (Souderton) had two goals for Lock Haven (15-4). Mary Beth Green (Henderson) had 14 saves for WCU, which will learn of its seeding in the Division II tournament Sunday night.
Eastern 13, Cabrini 8

    The visiting Eagles (14-4) outscored the Cavaliers, 8-1, in the second half to rally for their third straight PAC championship – each over their neighborhood rival.

Jessie Basch scored five goals for Eastern, which earns an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III tournament. Katie Choquette added three goals and two assists while goalie Kimberly Cambell (Great Valley) was outstanding with 18 saves.
    Amanda Alexandrowicz (Ridley) had three goals for the Cavs (12-5), who had won the PAC title eight straight years before the Eagles edged them, 12-11, each of the past two years in the PAC finals. Next year, Eastern moves into the Middle Atlantic Conference.
Penn 15, Temple 2
    The Ivy League champion Quakers (14-1) domnated the first half, taking a 10-0 lead, en route to a convincing win over the Atlantic 10 champion Owls (13-6).
Penn, ranked No. 1 in the country, got two goals apiece from Ali DeLuca, Courtney Lubbe (Council Rock North), Rachel Manson and Bethany Warren (Downingtown West). Manson added four assists while Chelsea Kocis had three assists and DeLuca and Kaitlyn Lombardo had two apiece.
    Nicole Caniglia (Radnor) had both Temple goals. The Quakers and Owls will learn Monday night of their first-round opponents in the NCAA tournament.
C.W. Post 21, Phila. University 7
    Allison Kessler scored three goals as the visiting Rams (12-5) closed their season with an East Coast Conference loss to the No. 1 team in the nation.
